Getting the label and tracking the shipment
Common to all five methods Whether the order was keyed in, imported, or synced from a marketplace, an ERP or the API, it goes through the steps on this page.
Get the label and hand it to the warehouse
This is the step people miss. Submitting is not the same as handing the order to the warehouse.
Drafts has four sub-tabs: No label obtained → In progress → To be submitted → Get Label Failed.
- Select the order and click Create label. The system requests a label from the carrier and the order moves to In progress.
- Once the label is back the order sits in To be submitted; submitting it there is what moves it to Awaiting (warehouse processing).
- To skip the manual step, tick "Automatically submit..." in the toolbar — it submits orders whose labels are back and orders that need no label.
