Product records (SKU)

Overseas warehouses receive and ship by SKU, so every product you plan to send in must exist in OMS first. Without a SKU you can't pick the product in an inbound order's packing table, and you can't create an outbound order at all. This is the foundation of everything else.

The flow

Note Submitting takes the product straight to Approved — it's usable immediately. The list has Reviewing and Rejected tabs, but products don't normally pass through them.

Step 1: Open the product page

Left menu: 产品管理 (Product management) → 产品 (Products). The tabs across the top are the statuses: All / Drafts / Reviewing / Approved / Rejected / Discarded.

Toolbar buttons:

Two sets of dimensions and weight

The list shows wms dimensions/weight and OMS dimensions/weight. The OMS values are what you entered; the wms ones are what the warehouse measured. When they differ materially, billing follows the warehouse's measurements. Toggle metric / imperial at the top right.

Note Dimensions and weight are required, and all three of length, width and height must be filled in. Their required marker sits on the section heading rather than the fields, which makes it easy to miss — leave them empty and the submit is rejected with "cannot be empty".

Step 2: Create a single SKU

Click 新建 (New). There are 12 required fields (length, width and height count separately):

Get the dangerous goods type right

This determines whether the item can fly and which channels accept it. Get it wrong and the carrier refuses the parcel at outbound time.

Important Never change the code of a SKU the warehouse has already received, or stock stops reconciling. The same goes for the product barcode — it's what the warehouse scans.

Then click 提交 (Submit), or 保存草稿 (Save draft) to come back to it later.

Step 3: Bulk import

For larger catalogues, use 导入 (Import) on the list page.

1. Click 导入 → 下载导入模板 (download template) (Product_Import.xlsx)
2. Fill in the 货品信息 sheet, one SKU per row
3. Upload

The template has 28 columns. Beyond the fields on the create form:

Length / width / height / weight / unit	Split into separate columns; the unit column picks metric or imperial
Currency	For the declared price
Country code of origin	The two-letter code (e.g. JP); see the 国家或地区简码 sheet
Dangerous goods type	One of the eight options above
Packaging required / code / name	When the warehouse packs on your behalf
Warehouse code	Which warehouse this SKU belongs to
Product image link	Images go in as URLs, not file uploads

Note The limits match the outbound import: xlsx only (renaming the extension doesn't work) and 5000 rows per upload. The template ships with dictionary sheets — use them for the code columns.

Step 4: Check the status

After submitting, the product goes straight to Approved and can be used for inbound and outbound orders right away.

Note Products can't be deleted, only discarded. Select a mistaken or retired SKU and click 废弃 (Discard); it moves to the Discarded tab and disappears from the pickers used when shipping.
