Prerequisites
Before creating any order, confirm the items below. They are what the warehouse needs to receive and ship your goods correctly.
1. Account and permissions
- You can sign in to Topwell OMS.
- Your account has access to the target overseas warehouse — it appears in the Warehouse dropdown as "Warehouse name (code)".
2. Product data (SKUs)
Warehouses receive and ship by SKU, so every product must be registered first. The full walkthrough is in Product records (SKU); here is just what to verify:
- The SKU exists and its status is Approved (submitting normally takes it straight there).
- The product barcode matches the one printed on the item — the warehouse scans it on receipt.
- Declared Chinese name, declared English name, declared price, country of origin and dangerous goods type are all filled in (these five are required, for customs and channel selection).
3. Arrival details (for inbound orders)
- Arrival method: Parcel / Carton / Pallet / Container (20GP, 20HQ, 40GP, 40HQ, 45HQ, 53HQ) / Other, and more
- Tracking number
- Estimated date of arrival
- Packing pattern: which SKU goes in each box, how many units per box, how many boxes, plus box size and weight
4. Recipient details (for outbound orders)
- Recipient and telephone (both required)
- Country/Region, Province/State, City Name, Postal code, Address1 (all required)
- For date-specific delivery, the specified delivery date and the carrier's time-slot code
Save frequent addresses
The Receiving info section has Choose from address book — save an address once and reuse it in one click.
